MIR Smart One® Spirometer with an App
The MIR Smart One® offers the fundamental capability to check respiratory function. It allows wireless connection to a smartphone via Bluetooth. Through the Smart One® app, users can easily perform measurements of Peak Expiratory Flow (PEF) and Forced Expiratory Volume in one second (FEV1) from home. This enables users to electronically send measurement data to their healthcare advisor. The spirometer is designed to serve as a self-monitoring tool for individuals with respiratory disorders and as a wellness tool for their health.Basic Monitoring with real spirometry technology.
Although the Smart One® is limited to measuring PEF and FEV1 parameters, it benefits from the same advanced technology used in clinical-grade spirometers. Thus, the Smart One guarantees exceptionally high levels of performance and accuracy compared to traditional flow meters. The Smart One® app is distinguished for its ease of use, allowing the user to simply select the tests or examinations they wish to perform, adjust settings, review results, and electronically send measurement data to their doctor.
How to use The App
The intuitive Smart One app is simple yet smart. By entering their age, nationality, weight, height, and sex in the settings menu, it allows the app to calculate the target value and set predefined ranges for your health index. When a user performs a test, e.g., Peak Flow, the target value is displayed as a motivation. After completing the examination, the user can record any symptoms through a selection from a predefined list or by typing. All examination data is stored within the app, providing the ability to review and monitor the progress of measurements over time.
