MIR Spirodoc Spirometer for Flexible Operation
The Spirodoc® is a multifunctional spirometry/oximetry device fully compatible with ATS & ERS standards, designed to offer flexibility in use through different operational profiles. It aims to meet the needs of healthcare professionals with an Advanced profile featuring specialized parameters, and patients for simpler home use through the Simplified profile. Additionally, it offers a Basic profile with common parameters for general checks, making it ideal for widespread use.
The spirometer is designed to conduct extensive breathing tests, both dynamic and gentle, for exhalation and inhalation. This includes capturing a wide range of respiratory parameters such as:
- Total Lung Capacity (FVC)
- Forced Inspiratory Volume (VC)
- Immediate Inspiratory Volume (IVC)
- The ratio of FEV1 to FVC
- The ratio of FEV3 to FVC
- The ratio of FEV1 to FEV6
- Peak Expiratory Flow (PEF)
- Percentages of FEF25%, FEF50%, FEF75%, and FEF25%-75%, among others.
It also measures Maximum Voluntary Ventilation (MVV), providing an accurate analysis of spirometry results before and after bronchodilation (PRE-POST).
Function All tests are automatically stored in memory, with the capacity to store up to ten thousand examinations. Examinations can be recalled at any time or transferred/sent for further processing. All measurements are compared using a broad base of predicted values. The Spirodoc® spirometer and oximeter operates flexibly, working with both multi-use flow sensors and single-use FlowMir® turbines with an integrated mouthpiece at a particularly low cost. The multi-use flow sensor is detachable and can be sterilized.

The advanced MIR SPIRO PLATINUM® software provides real-time Flow/Volume and Volume/Time curves before and after bronchodilation, alongside comparisons from a broad range of selectable parameters on your computer. User-friendly and fully customizable, the software complies with the latest 2019 ATS guidelines, displays the Lower Limit of Normal (LLN), the z-score, and pre and post score charts for FVC, FEV1, and FEV1/FVC. It includes all sets of predicted values and allows the user to select from a list of 18 options for primary and secondary authors, including GLI, Nhanes, ERS, Knudson, and others. All online updates and manufacturer support are free for one year from the activation date.
